Living in shadow cove apartment is really enjoyable. Most of the reason is because Foster City is a fantasic place. Crime rate is low. You could see police cars patrolling around all the time. The cove view is nice. Food here is great. Grocery store is just across street. Besides, this place is just 2 miles to my office :) I don't have to fight with highway traffic and earn an extra 30min sleep. That's priceless.

About this property, I would say it's just above average not great. 12xx for a 550 sq ft studio sounds crazy for most people. Plus another 30 dollars for water and sew. And they ask you to buy renter's insurance. So the actual cost to live here is almost 1300 if they stop raising the rental now. Carpet is cheap, bathroom is tiny, others are just about right for a 12xx dollors studio.

If you love Foster City and can afford the rental, this is the place for you.

ps: one thing I couldn't understand is why the laundry room get better view than my room :(
