It is VERY loud with parties galore! I have had to call the police to keep neighbors quiet on several occasions. The management does say they talk to the loud parties but it never seems to help...hmmm.
If you are near the garbage you will be waked up every time someone throws trash away or when the garbage is collected. Also the sound of airplanes is very loud overhead, although I did eventually get use to it.
Also, when you move out DON"T expect to see your deposit or be charged hundreds extra.

I write because I wish I had read this before considering it and moving in. Hope this helps someone avoid the mistakes I made.

It sounds like you are in the minority and are disgruntled. When you moved in, you knew you would be living near the garbage dumpster. We do have a courtesy patrol to handle party/noise issues. Also, you can call the police to handle these issues. Since the management office isn't open 24 hours, it is very difficult to respond to noise issues after the fact. Did you ever call the courtesy patrol or police? No. Deposits: When you get a dog and don't pay the pet deposit or pet rent and the dog urinates throughout the apartment and completely damages a brand new carpet. Any reasonable person should expect to be charged for the damage caused by having an illegal pet in the unit. Read all the other postings. This is just someone who doesn't understand what it is like to rent an apartment.
