I lived here for 6 months over a year ago and I hated it. Management was never in the office. The mail carriers delivered all packages to the office, so getting packages was a nuisance. ------ ------ was one of the management members, he was insane and creepy. He tried to tell me I couldn't have an air conditioner but there was absolutely nothing in the lease pertaining to air conditioners and it was 90 degrees and the middle of summer. After giving advance notification to the office that I'd be vacating at the end of the lease, he tried to charge me 2 weeks of rent PAST my lease expiration date. Lots of screaming kids and barking dogs. The building itself is just OK -- not bad but not particularly nice either. I'm really glad I got out of there.

I agree with your post completely. The management is not the best and it is VERY hot in the summer without air con. I had so many fans going in the summer and was still hot. The noise was also a CONSTANT problem that lead me to call the police several times to get loud tenants under control. If you can, LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I disagree. You need to look into studying some property management rules. I used to work in property management and know what it's like. Air conditioning is not allowed because it detracts from the look of the property and it is stated on EVERY lease that no alterations can be made to the unit. an a/c is an alteration! as for mail carriers, if the mail carriers are lazy and they decide to just drop off packages in the office without notifying you...contact your mail carrier service! Normally, residents consider it a great convenience to pick of packages at their leasing office instead of having to drive miles to a UPS store. If the management tried to charge you for 2 weeks after your lease expired it's probably because you are REQUIRED to give 30 days notice. If 30 days means passing the date your lease expires then you are responsible for those extra days...this is also on the lease. screaming kids and barking dogs? haha! no matter how much management send letters about noise complaints. Fact of the matter is, kids will be kids and dogs bark...it's what they do! Personally, since I've moved in here, I find it too quiet. I had to buy a fan to make some sort of noise at night. I personally love it here! it really ircks me for someone to talk so low about a management team that has done nothing wrong and speaks out of ignorance. The only real issue at this community is the visitor parking, and that wasn't even mentionend. Stop being so sensitive and take some responsibility>>>review your lease before you sign it.

Dear Andrw and Laura Brault,
Firstly, your personal attacks and inflammatory language are not only childish, but immature and uncalled for. Secondly, you moved out over a year ago and you still have this desire to slam the management and the Water's Edge Apartments. It is time to for you to move on and get on with your life. Don't you have anything better to do?
If you are an apartment manager, be wary because their sole purpose is to make your life miserable.
