NOPE ! Not the hit animated film about a rat that can cook. But the tenants that have previous reviews about rats living in the wall are 100% correct!!! CORTE BELLA IN FOUNTAIN VALLEY IS FULL OF RATS.
I live in an upstairs unit and about to move out. No wonder their bathroom fan has no switch! - (only 1 light switch that turns on the light and the LOUD exhaust fan.) So when you walk in the bathroom you're forced to hear the loud fan. - - BUT try going in the bathroom without the lights on and just listen carefully. You'll hear little rat feet shuffling around. When I had a severe maggot problem - I informed the on site leasing agent(s) who denied it was from dead rats in the attic. C'mon !!! Maggots form out of thin air' I guess they never watched the NIN video "HURT." Or took Biology classes. IF YOU COMPLAIN THEY WILL SERVE YOU A 60 DAY NOTICE TO MOVE. SO IF YOU'RE GOING TO COMPLAIN - BE PREPARED TO MOVE or use the law. Technically there is a law stating that if you have complained within the last 6 months prior to receiving a 60 day notice - you can take them to court. - I just don't want to waste my time with these numskull idiots. I make 85,000.00 a year and my wife makes the same. We've never had a problem paying rent or being late. But that doesn't matter - if you complain they will serve you a 60 day notice. Poor management, Unprofessional management, both on site and at their Irvine corporate office. Shame on you Shea. Before this we thought of Shea as quality. Not so much anymore. It doesn't matter as we have a 6 bedroom home overlooking a golf course, followed by the beach in Huntington Beach. Some things aren't ready and that's why we were still dwelling - but I'd rather deal with that than Corte Bella and a very unprofessional ---- ------. I moved in knowing I needed to dwell for a couple of years - Prior to the new staff - the previous staff was professional and caring - not the current one. She illegally tried to serve a 60 day notice 90 days prior to my lease end. I could have got them on that also - but the sooner out the better. The flying termites are back (the winged ones with the red head) They are gross. But the rats and the MOLD are unhealthier by far.

Very interesting!! To think I was on my way to take them a holding deposit!! WOW!! My husband and I have now thought twice about renting an apartment from this place!! I am sure glad I did a little investigating before jumping into that years lease!

Wow! I've lived at Corte Bella for several years now and love it. I have a window in my bathroom and no fan and have never heard or seen a rat or a mouse for that matter. This is the quietest place I've ever lived. The staff are always extremely professional. Interesting that you make that kind of money and have a 6 bedroom home and lived in an apartment you claim was "RATATOUILLE !!! (RAT-A-TOO-EE)". Being an extremely happy resident, this doesn't add up to me and a biology class isn't even needed. After several years of living here, I've had a bunch of requests that were taken care of immediately with no problems. What did you really do to get that 60 day notice?

OMG - You are such an IDIOT it took you 7 months to respond. Obama is an idiot and is the anti-Christ. He wasn't even born in this country. No one said we were "Rich" just middle class. Never acted like a big shot. Guess you have that chip on your shoulders. No one said we didn't have millions in reserve and many investments you idiot. My point in mentioning income is that affording a slum apartment was not the issue. GROW A BRAIN WHY DON'T YOU. You think we could afford a 2.5 million dollar home with 11,000 dollars in annual property tax, 450 dollar per month association fees on 170K per year??? OMG you are so stupid and probably in debt too. So if that's what OBAMA said than what are you? The bottom lower class? YOU ARE SUCH AN IDIOT. I think I'm more of a big shot because of who I know, who I associate with, who I participate in sporting events with, rather than how much I have, or how much I own.
And if we're talking only income without investments - I did not include the massive overtime I make you jerk off so tag on another 100K per year to that. Why don't you look at the first anonymous responder who was appreciative, who I helped from making a big mistake. Don't want me there? Good... look at the even newer opinions/reviews than mine... they all match and say the same things, same kind of complaints. And why would a perfectly great staff up and leave? Then when all is forgotten you change sides and become retarded when it comes to all who have made sacrifices for your freedom.
