Maintenance sucks!!

First this apartment (Sycamore) kept changing our move-in date...then when they finally let us move in, the apartment wasnt even completed. One whole shower had no door, and the other one had no shower curtain rod and no cover on the drain. Also there was no refrigerator...the next day they gave us one and it didnt even work!
So Jason from the office came to look at it, and he claimed the refrigerator was working well enough to last the weekend...he wasnt even part of maintenance, however, hes like "my dad does this for a living", so he assured us that he knew what he was talking about. YEAH RIGHT!!! All our food got spoiled and melted all over the floor.
Then he got so disgruntled because I mentioned our shower drain had no cover...hes like "whats wrong with the drain" all mad face. Then he interrupted and said "looks like someones in the shower" like John Wayne. He didnt even realize that they make apartments with more than one shower!
Then he saw the drain and remarked "oh thats easy, just needs a cover", as though that was something we could have produced ourselves.
Finally Jason went like "the food wont perish" and left without doing ONE THING!
In all fairness, Michelle and Marta from the office were very nice and reimbursed us for the hotel stay (due to the late move-in) and for the spoiled food in the fridge.
However, just recently the whole apartment flooded with unsanitary toilet water from the people upstairs, and maintenance took 2 hours to arrive, and by that time the damage had spread into all the rooms. Then the next day (Friday) no one even came to clean and dry the soiled carpets...instead some maintenance man tried to break in from my bedroom window the following morning, which was a Saturday for crying out loud, scaring me out of my sleep! I told the office about this, and theyre still working on it.
UPDATE: The office didnt even care or apologize about the maintenance peeping tom. Also our apartment had another leak for the second time in 6 months! Again it soaked the bedroom carpet.
Another warning...in March there was one day where no one was allowed to enter the apartment complex because there was some problem with someone having a gun...police were everywhere blocking the place. Quite scary. Dont move here. On top of that, the parking situation is terrible!
Funny Tidbit: The management team at Sycamore Valley Apartments actually called me to complain about this review I posted on this site!! What' And then the one right above my review titled "awesome place to live" mysteriously appeared right after that...hmmm...
