One more comment I'd like to add to the previous post. Petty thefts -like bikes lasting for 1-2 weeks- are fairly common (I had 2 bikes disappear within two weeks), and there was an attempted break in in one of the warmer nights in May... Also heard of another bike theft on the same week.
I don't have a comparison as to how much safer is this place compared to other places in Fremont, but I can assure you that "gated" feature of the community only gives you a false sense of security.
