I lived in Alborada from 2000-2002 and really enjoyed it. It was new, clean, great location, and tenants were pretty much tech professionals or families. I got a job transfer since 2002 but got took a better job and returned to the bay area and rented again at Alborada starting the summer of 2006.

Well, what a big change in 4 years. The place is still probably better than the other complexes but it's no where as good as it once was. I have to agree with other posters that the quality of people here has really gone downhill. Seems like all the professionals people and families have moved out and the tenants nowadays are basically more on the trashy side. Upkeep of the place has really gone downhill as well with garbage bins being completely full every other day, and a major problem with dog doo all over the place. Management is no longer friendly as well and it's more of a standoffish crew.

And most importantly, they charge you now for everything, even parking spots. I wouldn't mind paying the high rents either if it was like my first stay, but it isn't and the rents are too high for what this place has become.
