this apartment complex... sheezzz From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/25/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005   This is genuine former resident who moved out after a breif disagreement with the manager. 1) Within three months, our two different car windows of got broken by thugs. When i went to the manager regarding this, her response was "You should have attended the local meeting to prevent such accidents." Hellooooo who attend meeting in middle of weekday, ppls got work to do ! 2) Repair Service: They are quick and will replace it asap but their attitude SUCKS specially if you belong to minority group, they will treat you like you just came from foreign country.. Very Unprossional ! 3) If you are with family or clean ppls.. then this place is not for you.. There are drug dealing goes around this complex. I personally seen it happened on three different occasions. (residents involved in it) 4) If you open the window, you will hear roaring of motorbikes, cars, trucks (as the road (Thornton Ave) is the TRUCK ROUTE. You have to close the window if your crib is on or near the roadside. 5) Not fixed rate.. I have seen and heard that this apartment price is never fixed.. They will rent the one bedroom to one person for $980 and at the same time to other person they will rent it for $830. I used to pay $945 for three years and my neighbor pays $830 for the same style and yet his apartment is renovated nicely from inside. 6) I just read the other person review on security deposit. I confirm that it is very true because they not only they keep whooping $500 but later on they will charge you TONS on stuff like.. NEW CARPET, New Paint.. In conclusion.. there are loads of nice apartments in and around fremont vincity but countrywood is the HELL as compared to others. Now i am moved to good nice apartment on Alvarado niles and it's pleasant in both money and neighborhood. Now im paying 875 a month which includes water.. DOwn with country wood and it's manager/management !
