Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2004
I'm writing this as someone who's lived here for 4 years now. I was the first resident in my apartment after it was build in July, 2000.
While I have had a few minor issues with the management here and there, overall my time here has been great. They have changed management a few times with some small bumps along the way, but overall they've done a great job and making sure the changes are seemless.
I know a few other people in the complex who haven't liked certain people in the office, but it's usually those same people who are very friendly toward me. I found that if I'm rude and have an attitude with them, that's what I get back. When I'm nice and understanding they will bend over backwards to make sure I'm happy. I'm sure that's how it is at most places, but this complex (I think) truly wants to make everyone happy but as most rational people know it's next to impossible to make 100% of the people happy 100% of the time.
Noise: Very quiet, a little noise here and there. Quiet hours begin at 10 on weeknights and is enforced.
Renters: Generally young professionals. Some new families, but not a lot. Quiet during the day b/c most residents are working.
Trash: Best thing about this it that the apartment staff comes and picks up trash 3x/week MWF. All you do is put it in a trash bag outside your front door.. even on the 3rd floor!
Rent: Probably going to be higher than most places.. we are considering moving (sad!) to save money. They know they are the best place to live in Fremont so they can charge more than most places.
Location: Close to Lake Elizabeth. Nice area. I've never felt like I wasn't safe.
Complex: They have a small putting green, theatre, pool w/spa, nice club house that is always being used by residents, flower bushes here and there, lime trees, car washing station.. I think that's it.
Apartments: I live in a 1 bdrm, but have seen the 2 and 3 bedrooms too. They are all nice and spacious. The 1 bedrooms are kind of small (duh) but it works. Nice kitchens, carpet, flooring, big oval tubs in all apartments, central air and heating. White appliances (electric). Full sized washer and dryer in all apts. .. some have garages.
Parking: We have 1 reserved spot under a carport. Some apartments have garages. Whatever is not covered is open. Haven't had parking problems ever. I think you can rent a stroage closet if they have availability.
Think that's all - as you can tell it's pretty nice. I'm sure some people have had problems, no doubt. Overall I'd say it's a nice place to live. Tried to be objective to tell you what they have, but also let you know that the main issues seem to be w/management. Seems to be the main complaint at all apartments... my advice.. be nice to them, smile, be understanding, and they'll go out of their way to be nice and make you happy.
