Examples of the Estate's Management....decide for yourself:
From: ThefactsDate posted: 7/1/2004
Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
?We once called in a repair because the vent on the dryer was not working properly. When maintenance came out to make the repair, we came home to all of our heating/ac air ducts being opened and the dryer vent in the same condition as before.
?We and several other tenants made complaints about a neighbor who had an entire apartments worth of furniture on their first floor balcony which was in the view from the walkway. Nothing was done for 6-months even though it directly violated lease agreement.
?Another ground level apartment was leaving garbage on their balcony and throwing it in front of their balcony causing plants to die, foul smells and attracting rodents and insects. After many tenants complaining nothing was done until the filthy tenants eventually left on their own terms.
?A homeless cat with only 3-legs became attached to the complex as it could not fend for itself for food. The management responded by sending a notice to all tenants to not feed the cat. A staff member was soon after seen KICKING the helpless cat. Shortly after that incident the cat was missing.
?Management sent out notice for all residents to completely clear off their balconies for necessary repairs which would be done in the next two days. All residents complied, but work was not done when promised. Two weeks after the scheduled start date, we finally received a follow-up letter stating work would not be done for another month. During the repairs we were unable to access our balconies for over a week.
?The management company out sources another company to do move out walk throughs. This same company is hired to perform any necessary cleaning or repairs after move out. Interesting see how many flaws they can find upon move out.
?During our 2-year stay at the complex, we have seen several police incidents. Including the complex entrances and exits being blocked off, a SWAT team being dispatched, guns being drawn and a police dog being used to obtain criminals in once such incident. Each time, as a concerned tenant we inquired as to our own safety the staff knew nothing about the police incidents. Realizing tenant privacy must be maintained, it would be nice to have a knowledgeable staff that could ensure your safety.
Does this sound like good management to you' Does this sound like the tenant causing the problems to you' Does this even sound like something a good person would do'
