It is unbelievable as to how long it takes for a false fire alarm to be silenced. Tonight 10/28, the fire alarm went off in Building H @ 10:15PM.

1) It took several calls to security, (who responded 45 minutes later)

2) Numerous calls to the maintenance emergency answering service (who never showed up) which really worries me. What if there was really an emergency'

3) The Fremont Fire Department who had to break into the room where the FIRE ALARM was in order to shut the alarm off.

I OVERHEARD THE FIREFIGHTERS TALK ABOUT HOW IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT IS FOR NOT PROVIDING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS TO KEYS TO THE BUILDING - THAT'S FRIGHTENING AND I'M SURE A VIOLATION OF THE FIRE CODE. Living at ESTATES AT PARK PLACE IS NOT ONLY COSTLY, BUT ALSO DANGEROUS. HOW CAN THE FIREFIGHTERS GET TO YOU IF YOU ARE BEHIND A LOCKED DOOR'

As long as management gets their bonus, they don't give a crap about their residents. They only PRETEND TO.

Incorrect information: First of all mgmnt DID respond, my husband and I spoke to Shane Secondly the fire dept did not have to break in because of no key their key was not brought, call and ask fire dept Third I live in bldg H and the false alarm was loud but how dare you write that they are there for just a bonus, if you feel this way MOVE OUT! I am part of a weekly group here and some of these comments are just insane, as the people who write them. My group and I have spoke on this issue a few times and we feel that if one feels this way in their living environment then go next door and live, good riddens. We also feel that the mgmnt does a good job and I will call Metric to let them know. We are actuall y writting a letter to Metric stating that some people here are just plain NUTS! WorkOutGroup
