My wife and I have have lived here for a couple of years now, heres our expierence.
Our apartment is very expensive and I was hessitant to rent, but my wife won me over first then the community won me over.
When our lease was over the first year and it was time to renew we recieved a large increase, I told my wife lets give notice. We went into the office and spoke with the guy with the blonde hair/ponytail (this site does not want names.) He was very professional and did not want us to give our notice so he negotiated on our behalf to Metric (owners.) Needless to write, we are still here because he got us a good deal and we have renewed now twice. My opinion is see him, there are complete twits in the office otherwise.
On that subject, good help is hard to find! There have been idiots working in there off and on. Complete lack of customer service. I brought this to the guy with the hair and he appologized and has taken care of us personally. My wife is very social and talks to other tenants and they feel the same. We actually feel sorry for him.
Also, him and the older lady have always been there and have some great parties. My wife has helped out at times and she tells me the thought and work behind those tenant parties in addition to running the office, they do a great job.
Yes we hear our neighbors at times but hey what do you expect.
I realize we pay more but we like our layout, we like the customer service from the two in the office, avoid everyone else in there, we never have to wait for the guys to fix problems, always with a smile, the grounds are nice and they have great parties.

I wish they negotiated with all tenants - this is something that isn't mentioned to all that live there, I know that for a fact! I was sick of the yearly increases and as a single woman, I would have liked a break. Guess they still continue to play favorites. Needless to say I moved out to a house in Fremont, 3 bedroom 2 bath in a great neighborhood for $1600 a month, that is only $100 more than I was paying for a 1 bedroom at this facility. My rent is fixed now - no more increases for me and no more game playing with office staff. Life is good away from the Estates.

We think we know who you are because you use to gossip outside our dinning room window while walking your dog.Fact-you made it very clear that you where moving back to the house you shared with your boyfriend before he asked you to move out. Fact-we know they will negotiate if you close to the asking price. Fact-we where close to that price therefore our rent rate was a small percentage.Hypthesis-Perhaps you where not, or maybe it was just time to go because you have a vicious mouth and just palin evil. Take the money you saved and join Jenny Craig darling and get in a relationship. Occupy your time and lonliness.

I love how obvious it is who wrote this and who responded to the commentor. I'm another unhappy tenant. Yeah - they try to double your rent when it's time to move out.

I am another unhappy tenant, and I do not know any of you guys...will be moving at the end of this month. I tend to agree with "anonymous single mother", I happen to be in the same boat with you...FACT- No one has bothered to re-negotiate with me and I have called on several occasions. I am not loud, don't have parties, always pay my rent, and have not called for repairs but once when the hot water was COLD, so you can't say that I was a bad tenent. And don't get me started on the parking situation...it's a mess!!! Anyway good bye, good riddance, and Rodriguez1999 Enjoy your home, as there are many who do not share your wonderful experience.
