Just don't try to move out

Nevermind the crappy cardboard "luxury apts." Try moving out. Spent a day trying to clean the black mold and ant-trap residue out of our place and they still charged us $100 for cleaning. Including the carpet which they refused to clean and was dirty when we got there. Leaving the place cleaner than we found it counts as trashing the place. Plus 13th-month rent, Plus cancellation fee.
Mold. Annual ant infestations no matter how clean you are. Neighbors who barbecue and smoke on their decks so you can't open one of your two windows in your unit in the summer. A drain overflow puddle in the yard that makes walking through the back gate to Guardino impossible (people in the back apts have to either wade through the muck or walk a quarter mile out of their way through the front of the complex to get out without a car). All the HB-1's went home so now the place is full of families and kids, not just feral car-scratching cats ...
