Falling fast...

The 2BR/2BA units are actually very nice, and relatively huge compared to the other 2/2 units in the area. Rent is still ridiculously high, though. There's been a mass exodus from here over the last year or so, and it seems to be taking longer and longer to get units filled. The staff has changed a lot, but they're relatively nice if you know who to talk to to get things done. The pool areas have just been re-landscaped.
Other reviews have been right on about the whole garbage-sewer-water thing. The complex pays absolutely NO utilities whatsoever, which is almost unheard of around here. The noise level outside isn't that bad, but unless you live on the third floor, expect a lot of noise from above, and unless you live on the first floor, expect a lot of squeaks and creaks from your floor.
The maintenance staff is pretty efficient... when they finally show up. That's not entirely their fault, though; most of the time the leasing consultants have neglected to submit a work order. Stay on the front office and you'll get taken care of. Several units have newer appliances, and if something breaks, they're fairly quick at replacing it.
The neighborhood, on the other hand, is great. Central Park is right across the street, the Fremont Police Department is a block away, and I've been running at night consistenly without any problems.
The only thing that really blew about our move-in was that only the master bedroom phone line worked (the living room line was dead) when we got here, and we had to pay to get it fixed ourselves.
