Bad Management, dirty grounds, and noisy neighbors.

There is only one member of the Leasing Team that I would say is even halfway worthy of having the job. If you don't go to that one person with your problem, don't expect anything to be done. If you don't have a computer to post your maintenance requests online forget about it getting done because they can't lift a pen to write one out, or they lose the requests they write out. When you do post your request online don't expect it to be done for 2 -3 weeks. There are only 2 maintenance guys for the whole place, and since EVERY apartment most likely has something wrong, the poor guys just can't handle the workload. I do have to say though that they are good guys and they do a good job once they get there.
As for cleanliness, the hallway lamps are so dim because no one ever cleans them and they are encrusted with spider webs and dust. The hallways are dirty and the dumpster areas are ridiculously gross because people can't seem to get their trash "into" the dumpsters. This may be to the fact that the management installed VERY HEAVY doors on the trash areas and no one wants to get caught inside with the smelly dumpster. BEWARE of where you step in the grass, in fact I would say, stick to the sidewalks. This is a pet friendly community and the grass is loaded with dog poop. Any responsible owner would pick it up, but we don't seem to have many "responsible" ones here.
As for it being "pet friendly" I would say be prepared to hear the BIG dogs barking all night long. Especially on those hot summer nights when all your windows are open because you don't have air conditioning, and you just want to sleep, but the dogs are barking and the babies are crying and the guy across the courtyard is having a party.
As for the great remodeled pool area....for six months we were paying for something we couldn't use. Then when they did open up after remodling, the hot tub wasn't hot, the pools were filthy and the hot tub was growing some kind of scum. The new "decking" they put on the pool is slippery as all get out when it's wet. I'm sure they'll be in for a lawsuit some day.
So these are just a "few" of the reasons not to rent here. Make your own decision, but we are out of here as soon as the lease is up. You can find places that are a lot nicer and worth your time and money.
Oh yeah, as for them shampooing the carpet...I really don't believe they did before we moved in because there was pet hair all over the place. There's nothing like having to clean a place before you can unpack your stuff.
