I came in on a lease at $1095 for a one bedroom with washer and dry and thought this was reasonable for overpriced Fremont. Once that lease was up they jacked up the rent $120!! They said it would go up another $120 when my next least is up, but I'm leaving. Very condescending staff. The lighting is poor in the apartment and there is no closet space except your bedroom. I see security patrol often and this area by the lake is peaceful and pretty in general. But the office and maintenance staff are horrible. It took 2 weeks to change a light fixture and they replaced it with a broken one. When they installed air conditioning in my bedroom the maintenance men left dirty footprints on my rug, piss all over the toilet
seat and the toilet seat was left up! I can't depend on maintenance to come when they say they will. I usually have to call the office directly to complain. I have had random visits by maintenance men to check on stuff I didn't even call for. I have called 4 times about the plumbing in my bathroom which keeps clogging. I have
had to get the place sprayed for an ant infestation. The lights over my car are always out. A few times the lights in my building were not turned on at all at night and I couldn't see a dang thing in my building! Office staff are bitchy when I complained about maintenance taking so long and get mad when I don't understand that they are so short on maintenance staff. I don't know how they can justify this as a "luxury" apartment. The going rate to new tenants for a one bedroom is almost $1400!!! The price on rent.com is always wrong and is always more when you call them up personally. That's false advertising! The place is pretty on the outside and in a decent area of Fremont, but it's way overpriced and ill managed at this time. And all the remodeling is awfully noisey. Almost everyone has moved out of my building and from 7am to sundown there is banging, stomping and people hauling crap up and down the steps. Some vacation. I haven't been able to sleep in at all! Plus, once or twice a week they shut off the water for the construction issues. Just not worth your money, and far from what I would call "luxury". Staff needs some serious training on behaving more professionally. Go somewhere else.
