I'm paying $1800 a month for a two bedroom, plus $50 a month for "ISTA" fees (water, garbage, sewer). Not including this in the rent just makes more hassel for the renter.
The carpets were in poor condidtion when I moved in, although the unit had been remodeled with new appliances. Like most apartments, there is sloppy workmanship: white paint splattered around fireplace and other areas, etc. You would think a decent paint job wouldn't be too expensive. Also, although the place was "remodeled" the blinds close only backwards. The new air condidtioning units I discovered leak in a lot of cold air when it's cold outside. The place is very energy inefficient, although putting duct tape around the shoddy airconditionlng unit installation helped.
Lots of noise from kids, and folks talking loud on the balconies. People talk loud after midnight in the pool area. They have NO kind of after-hours noise regulations. Many nights it's impossible to get much sleep because of rude, inconsiderate people. Whether the people leave here or just wander in off the street and use the jacuzzi, I don't know. Nobody does anything about it.
Gross: lost of pet poop all over the place.
The maintenance has been good for a couple of things like light fixture and water leak, but that's the only real positive I can think of. The mailboxes are a mile away except for the few lucky residents who live near the office.
I would not recommend it. You could probably find something nicer for the same or less. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
