I read somoe reviews on this website and chose Sun Pointe over Alborada next door 9 months ago. I think it was not a great move on my part. First, the rent is as high as the gate community next door. We got a newly renovated apt, the appliances are new but the dryer didnt work properly (washer dryer are old). The MANAGEMENT Is RUDE. Except for the Candy, the manager and assistant manager are EXTREMELY RUDE. OFten they close the office before time on wednesday (They have extended hours on wed evening). I once visited the office 5 times to collect my packet.
The mailboxes are far and its hard for resident who live on the other end ( Guardino road). And remember , you cant open your mailbox after 9pm.

As somebody mentioned, the patios are a pain if you live on the first or second level. Many a times dirt falls on your head. The common areas are always dusty and it seems that the management doesnt seem to care to get it cleaned on reagular basis.Most people in my builidng clean the common area themselves..such a shame eapcially after paying 50 bucks for ISTA.

And another thing to note is please get the deal that the manager promises in writing.She promised me something when I came to visit but didnt entertain that when I moved in. I didnt give the initial deposit so could fight for the special. Also the toilets were dirty and the carpet not new even after Renovation. One of the door was missing too.

I am waiting to move out from here as soon as my lease is over. I wish the Bay area housing market was more affordable....atleast these ladies wont behave so rudely.

Please note that I usually dont complain and gave excellent rating to my previous apartment complex. PLEASE STAY AWAY especially the MANAGER.

The only good feature about this apt is ample parking.

All true, especially the promises, it was like they (in the office ) were never on the same page, we had a quoted rate from one, then came in and were handed a completely different number, much higher, and no one could "recall" who gave us the original quote....hmmm! BAD office people.
