Overpriced

I'm much happier living in a cheaper place. It's just not worth the money. The units aren't energy-efficient at all, and you also have to pay an big ISTA utility bill that's calculated from a monthly average of all your neighbors' garbage and water usage, so if they're pigs you get to pay. Parking can be hard to find. The mailboxes aren't available at convenient times. The places are somewhat shoddily remodeled. The gym facility is nice, but we rarely used it so it wasn't worth it. Walls are just as thin here as every other apartment, so I won't complain about it; it's apartment living, folks! But the floors were unusually squeaky... Office staff is just as disinterested as every other place I've lived. Maintenance is OK, so that's a bright spot. Oh, almost forgot: I had to throw away all my pantry food because it got infested with grain beetles: EWWW! Then on top of that there was a mouse infestation in the walls; they were coming in through the kitchen cabinet where a sewer pipe went through a hole in the wall that was too big. At first they put down these useless sticky traps, until I insisted they try my strategy of caulking or wiring up the space around the hole, which worked. It was OK to live here, but I'm much happier in a cheaper place, even with a worse level of service! Definitely shop around before shelling out the dough.
