We've been living at Watermark for two months now and have yet to have a problem. Our neighbors are nice and respectful, we've all introduced ourselves. Yes, kids do play, but they're kids right' But all of the ones I've seen outside have been supervised by parents. A majority of the tenants are also working professionals or stay at home moms so it's pretty quite.

Parking hasn't been a problem and neither has mail/break-ins. The staff have been friendly and we've gotten pleasant service.

Yes, you can hear some Bart noise. We are commuters and having Bart within walking distance is hugely convenient and saves us on our fuel bill. The apartments do have older appliances but the one bedroom we live in is spacious clean and well maintained, plus it has a washer and dryer within the unit. Also the apts have a programmable alarm system.

So if you "have" to have granite counter tops and brand new kitchen appliances this place is definitely not for you. Same goes for if you can't tolerate a bit of Bart noise. But if you have to commute to San Francisco or Berkeley daily and are ok with slightly older appliances but a spacious interior then I would totally recommend living here.

We were paying 1999 at our old apt with granite counter tops. When we looked around the area you could find 1 bed apts without washer/dryer or alarm system for 1200 but they were seriously shady looking and if you think there were problems with vandalism at Watermark I can guarantee you would have problems at these $1200 places. All in all for the price, location (for commuters), I would say it was pretty fair.

I noticed that all the good reviews are from people who have not stayed at Watermark a long time. I have been here 10 months and I know first hand that management specifically Natasha and Julio are rude and unprofessional. They are the reason people don't rent at Watermark. I'm warning people not to tie themselves in a lease becuase they will just be waiting to move out.
