This place, though it is in a good location, has terrible maintenance. These guys do the smallest amount of work possible to save every penny. leaking roof' Oh, they will caulk the hole and maybe even paint over it. mold growing because of a leaking roof' They got some paint for that too! needless to say, you take a look at the walls and the doors to the cabinets, and you can tell that everything has a solid 1/2 inch of paint on it.
The cleaning people will clean the windows on the doors to the buildings and vacuum the bottom floor, but the stairwells have never been cleaned, there is all kinds or dirt and grim on the walls and doors of the stairway. also, when a light went out on the stairway, it took two weeks to change the light bulb. Is it that hard people' Don't even get me started on the slow, stinky, broken-down elevator. It scared me. We also had a car broken into. The office people are nice, but they claim that the maintenance staff is understaffed and overworked. But even so, it should not take two months to stop a leak in my ceiling, not including any repair to my ceiling, mind you. For two months I was in and out of their office telling them, yes, my ceiling is still leaking , yes there is now mold growing. We finally got fed-up and moved out, and when we pulled a nail out of the wall closest to the damaged ceiling, it was like pulling a nail out of glue. The damage was so extensive that the wall next to it was turning to mush.
I am sure they are painting it as I type this.

This sounds exactly like the problems in our townhouse, too. They even painted over the cabinets in the kitchen so that they were sealed closed and we couldn't open them (when we moved from an apartment to a townhouse in the same complex).
I wonder if skanam55 works for the company that owns these apartments.
