I lived at Crystal Falls for 2-years. The place is a horror show. Roaches infest the apartments, a majority of the tenants are lower income and receive government assistance. They are real low class. Marijuana is smoked openly, groups of men and teens hang out on the stairs around most of the buildings. Loud hiphop music is played from dawn till 2 a.m. on the weekends. Kids run riot without supervision and enjoy the game of pressing doorbells and running away. Others steal items from patios, like mini barbecue grills, shoes, etc. I mean it is really ghetto. The only areas that are clean are around the office and at the front entrance. They are just for show.
The staff is professional and friendly until you commit to a lease. At which time they become inattentive and curt. The groundskeepers water the lawns to the point of creating bogs which draw mosquitoes (to combat this they pour bleach everywhere a few times a month during mosquito season). The mailboxes are broken into regularly (usually around the 1st of the month when disability and Welfare checks are due).
Like I said, ghetto. There are a lot of better values in Fresno. Stay away from Crystal Falls. Just Google apartment reviews and read the CF horror stories. There are many.
