sure, heron pointe has an "image appeal" to it, however, i've found it to be the worst apartment complex i've EVER lived in. rent is atrocious for the fresno area ($1107 for a 3bd). we've found mold in our apt. it's condition upon move in was horrible. we actually had to get on our hands and knees an scrub EVERYTHING before we started moving in furniture. sure, the archetecture of the apt is nice...the ponds are asthetic from a distance, but up close, everything is ugly. dirty, broken, and ugly.
there's a rec room though...but wait! you can only use it when the office is closed! and the office is open 7 days a week...some rec.
stuff is broken. the fireplace IS busted. the heater was busted. the A/C IS busted. and yes, i have called to have them fix it.
gated community' what good is gated if they never close the gates and allow ANYONE in and out'
the worst part of my whole heron pointe experience is the staff. when moving in, they were #1. eager, willing, and helpful. once oyu're in though, it's a whole different story. rudeness, incompetence, and a general lack of caring.
so i'm in the process of breaking my lease right now..which has been a royal pain in the arse...i can't even get the staff to get me outta here. it's gonna cost me over $3000 to get out of this lease, but right now, i'm so fed up with this place that i'm willing...WILLING to fork over that much money. horrible.
i DO NOT recommend this place. keep looking.
