I have lived at Jackson Park Place for a year this coming February. I like the grounds, and the office staff is nice. My roommate keeps on them about maintenance. Everything has been fixed if there was a problem, including a new dishwasher.
Having more than one car can sometimes be a pain, because sometimes it fills up. Although, I have never had to park very far from my apartment. Otherwise the parking is adequate.
I would not, however, recommend a downstairs apartment. I live upstairs and have disturbed the downstairs neighbors, on accident.
