J.C is located in a ideal location,your 5 driving minutes away from everything you need, including the csu, grocery stores, & major shopping places. The stair-wells do get trashed, and the building only has one elevator, so plan on getting some , exercise! As for the rooms, the walls are paper thin so you hear everything your roommates do, and even the ppl below & above you from time to time! The rooms are VERY tiny and the beds are VERY high but, you get a nice size closet. A good reason to chose this place would be that ur room is furnished w/ the basics, and if ur a student, its really all you need. Just a side note, the desk chair isnt that comfy, bring a pillow for it! The common areas are big in the apartment, and make up for the lack of room space. The kitchens are also very nice for the college student. Music can be heard A LOT throughout the building, its a trade-off. Its a good place to live for the first time college student as it provides a lot(beautiful pool,gym,plus no saving quaters for laundry!!!!), but dont expect u will be able to study too much from home!Parking is also really great,the back lot aint pretty but there is plenty. Watch out for the bums in the trash bins, they are nice though :)

I get the feeling this person works at JC because they are WAY to optimistic about all the ------ things about JC. How does a VERY tiny room and a VERY high(and large) bed get balanced out by a "nice" size closet. Then the author of this review repeats 3 times how loud it is, and they even suggest that you won't get any studying done at your own residence! The author also suggests to watch out for bums? What kind of place is this? The only positive things that were pointed out like location, parking, furnished rooms(but with odd size furniture and uncomfy chairs), and laundry aren't things that would really make me want to live there. Those are some basic things that are NICE but not required, while on the other thing, everything the author complained about were things that I personally would consider very important things to think about before moving in!

a very tiny bed gets balanced out w/ a very high bed b/c it makes up for the lack of space to store things, i.e. you can store a ton of ---- under your bed.

I've lived here for two years. The bums don't come around anymore. There is someone on duty 24/7 so if they had a noise complaint it should have been handled. Nightime security is GREAT about noise. On occasion Simone will abandon there trash in the stairs but that's not common. The rooms are small but the high bed is nice and high which means great storage and no need for the sex pillow. Seriously the bed is about crotch level.
