Ok so the first day that I moved in my microwave stopped working, my refrig. door broke in the inside, and my foot went through the bath tub which ran with scorching hot water only because they turned off the cold water... Anyways it took them about a week to replace it all. Then they didnt assign me a parking spot so when I asked for one they gave me a car port and a garage but I used the car port only... Then one night they towed my car because they gave my parking space to some one else and I couldn't prove that it was my spot because the agents didn't ever give me any paper work. And on top of that the guy that they contract through to tow the cars will come in and mark your tires and he doesn't even work for the company that he says he works for... I know because I called them. And I stopped the towing guy before he left the complex and he wouldnt drop my car with out paying him $200 so I called the cops and then he took off. Also there is non-stop partying, and screaming. I knew of 5 apartments that smoked pot when I called they security company they asked how I knew that it was pot and I said that come on who doesn't know what it smells like. Any ways the smell was coming from our vents because they are all connected through the attic... Then we had a problem with mold in our bathroom. After we take a bath or shower we leave the fan on with the door open put still managed to get mold. Now this wasn't the kind of mold that grew by the tub or toilet from not cleaning but mold coming from the walls. The walls are supposed to be white and our bathroom wall was streaming with yellow and started getting litte black fuzz. We called maintenance and it took them 2 days to come out and all they did was say that it was mold and they he sprayed bleach and water and whipped it off. 2 days later it was back and it was worse. I called again and this time they didnt come... My fiance finally called Code Enforcement and they came out and verified that it was mold and cited the property and said that it had to be fixed in 10 days. Never was and they got cited again... Through this 2-3 month period my son has in the hospital 3 times caused by the pot smell and the mold so we got a doctors note saying that we had to be out of there now. When we notified the office about this they basically called us liars and said that we cant break our lease. But we left anyways for the health of our family... My son was only 13 months old. We took pictures of the apartment walls before we turned in the keys and you could clearly see the mold. Then we tried to get our deposit and they said that they had to replace everything and repaint the walls because we chipped it everywhere and that they were keeping it because we broke our lease. When we threatened to sue they said that there was no mold and that we should have never called code enforcement and that they wanted proof. So we sent the pictures and they property manager said that it wasn't the walls of the apartment and that they are charging us for the rest of our lease plus more. So now we are going to file a civil law sute to get our money back and to pay for the medical bills for my son and we have our Code Enforcement agent with his proof and documentation. So unless you want problems like these then I suggest you look some where else and don't even get me started whith the grounds work very unkept and unleveled sidewalks everywhere.
