There is never a dull moment at the UV, or the village as some like to call it! The pool, the staff, the apartments, are all beautiful! There have been a few people killed here over the years, but it is Fresno, that happens at every apartment complex. The gates and security guards here keep most of the place safe. It is loud sometimes, but I would not have renewed my lease 4 times if I didn't expect a college apartment to be a little loud. They include a free workout room, with state of the art equipment, a free computer lab and tanning booth are open 24 hours as well! You can't beat the Village for the price around campus!!

How does that statement make UV sound like heaven? UV is hell to me. I can't believe that you would make death sound like a casual and appropriate thing for anywhere or anything. You are de-emphasizing the evil that murder is and making it seem like murder is acceptable! I lived there for 2 years and I have never seen a security guard. If this place was so safe with they're security guards and gates, then why did someone die? You are truly delusional! Maybe that explains the fact the you renewed 4 times.

To previous User Response: How is it that you expect that every person, and their possessions should be searched for weapons? How do you expect that every person is to be guarded at all times? Absolute protection is an impossibility. If they took the measures to insure this, you would be complaining about it. One person died, and yes that is a tragedy, but it is nothing to the gang activity, muggings, assaults and other crime that other complexes experience. Compared to the other places available to prospective residents, University Village is Heaven and I completely agree with the original poster. ***Oh By the way, the people that were involved in that indecent all lived there, and they were trying to settle the matter of a stolen PS2 when the idiot shot them.***
