All the negative stories about this place are VERY TRUE. One Sunday I locked my self out of the apartment and I immediately went to ask the property manager for a little help. Well, he was just about to refuse at first, but then gave in only because he "happen" to be in the office when I found him (they are usually closed on Sunday). The shower in my apartment is disgusting. The management simply paints over the old mold and within a few weeks it's back again. Rats take up residence inside your car's engine compartment where they chew-up the electrical wires. One neighbor had this happen to his truck and it cost him about $2000 in damage. There are stories of people either moving in or out and while they were away of their vehicle their stuff is stolen in plain daylight from their car. The Ambassador Inn is zoned as a business address. So if you have your mail sent to your apartment and then you move, you CANNOT have you mail forwarded to your new address. The Post Office WON'T forward it and asking management to forward your mail is totally out of the question. Management won't do anything more than their job description states and forwarding mail isn't part of that description. All they want is your money. Just don't expect them to do anything you ask them to. When I first moved in we all had access to two laundry rooms within the complex. Now the property manager has taken over one of them as his own personal laundry room. No one else is allowed in and he uses it only a couple times a month. The rest of the time it goes unused. Make sure you watch your car because you might find someone sleeping under it like I did on day. Also, you might find your catalytic converter missing from your car like some people have. My advice, DO NOT MOVE HERE AT ANY PRICE!
