I'm going to be completely honest. I had a two bedroom apt on the 2nd floor with private garage. Amerige Pointe can be a good place to live, but there are a few downers. First, although it's nice that the doors are nice, tall and thick, they close much to fast and would shake my apartment when my neighbors left the door to close on its own. This happens enough for me to mention it. Also, the staff is young and cute at times, but good looks don't make up for incompetence. The pool area is great, but good luck trying to around the many kids. Also, as a read in a similar situation in another review, my second year there they tried to raise the rent almost $200/month and offered my apartment to new potential tenants at the lower original renting price. I know because I was there when I gave my 30 days notice before moving out and there was a couple looking for a 2 bedroom apartment and the staff had the nerve to offer my apartment at a lower price right in front of me. I was confused until I really thought about it. They raise the rent on current tenants and offer the lower one to new ones to make even more money. Obviously. Tenants already living there are more reluctant to move out and pay more rent if they're already comfortable, and they are trying to capitalize on that. Otherwise, the amenities are nice if they aren't being used by tenants from other apt buildings. The basketball court has AC and music but was constantly used by nontenants. My conclusion: Nice place to live in a nice location, but not worth the expensive price.
