College kids this is your place

Well I've lived in three units in this complex over a two year period.

One summer my freshman year of college I moved into a two bedroom unit on the third floor. Be warned it gets extremely hot on the third floor. It was me and 7 other guys. By the end of the summer there were only 3 of us left and we were all ready to move out.

So if you are not in college and looking for a nice quiet place to live this was not the place to live. Then again, what do you expect' The complex is across the street from a college campus! It's going to be relatively loud, and you're going to have problems with theft; drug use; alcohol and the lot, it's college what do you honestly expect' I will admit that the managment did what they could to keep the problems down, but one manager against an entire complex...

Then I moved into a one bedroom unit with one roomate. I think that was by far the best set up. It was on the first floor and kept pretty cool during the summer, but you heard everyone upstairs and not only that with it being a college town I always worried about someone breaking in to the unit because it faced the parking lot and would seem very easy for someone to just break in.

After that I moved into my own one bedroom unit on the second floor, which was the best location in my opinion. It didn't get too hot or too cold but you still got the noise from upstairs. The best part in my opinion was that someone couldn't just break in through the window. So I was happy and it also faced the pool area (College town, remember')

Overall the place was not kept up too well and the parking sucked as usual. We also had to deal with Coakroaches and other insects because of the messy people.

But I didn't move in for the glamor. I moved in because it was cheap and close to school.

But also keep in mind that they have new managment and things are cleaning up in that neighborhood.

I'm actually thinking about moving back in to the complex (need to save some xtra cash) So I've talked to the new managment. Professional company took over now, and they remodeled the insides of all the units. So if your thinking about it and don't mind the college life then I would give it a go ahead.
