Somethings Don't Change

I was a resident from 1987-1993 and Briarhill was all I could afford at the time. I had a month-to-month and they never raised the rent on me in 6 years of living there and the management was really friendly. The place was reasonably quiet, however the laundry facilities were a nightmare. Most didn't work and the ones that did were always in use so you were doing laundry at 2am. There was never enough hotwater for a shower in the morning and the provided furniture and appliances were cheap and ugly. It was OK for a temporary living situation, but if you are going to be there more than 6 months, you are probably better off in something with better amenities in an nicer/safer area. Great walking distance to most shopping areas so you don't need a car to get around.
