A FAILED ATTEMPT AT MODERNIZATION

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
My fianc and I have lived here going on 3 months and in this time period we have had a multitude of problems; ranging from move-in day, cleanliness of our Brand New Apartment, the on-going ignorance of the Leasing Office Staff & Management.
Okay I have to admit this was our first attempt at leasing a NEW apartment verses living in apartment communities.
Citypointe offered us sort of a newer life style away from apartment communities and into a kind of New York style apartment structure.
We live on the 4th floor facing south with a so-so view.
Something highly over-rated by the Leasing Staff.
CP leasing staff advised us prior to our move-in that we had to reserve the elevator for our move-in and that they would give us a window of 4 hours.
Yeah, so much for locking-down the elevator for my move-in window of 4 hours! The company I had hired to move us in had to wait numerous times waiting on others who were just using the elevator as a norm, without any thought of people who were moving-in.
?Oh sorry we did not know?, I complained to CP Leasing Office and got the old, ?We will have to look into that for you, sorry?.
Sorry, is that some sort of constellation for CP Leasing Office Staff & Management failure to provide the services promised; as it was are moving company had to wait out in the hallway while the Assistant Manager insisted on a walk through of the apartment prior.
The Assistant Manager hurried my fianc through the apartment and made her sign a move-in check list of any problems.
The Assistant Manager told my fianc to just sign the form stating everything was okay when in fact it was not! I was very furious when I learned of this; my fianc came to me very upset about the way she was treated by CP Assistant Manager.
Upon moving in the apartment we had found things to be very dirty and a very bad smell.
The movers had even made a comment about the smell.
One stated maybe it was the NEW CARPET; I was very embarrassed to have a moving company person to say such a thing.
Truth be told, the smell was in fact the BRAND NEW CARPET! CP had failed to clean the apartment prior to us moving-in and also failed to have the CARPETS CLEANED not alone vacuumed! My wife spent the first hour vacuuming, the BRAND NEW CARPET, around move-in boxes and furniture.
We found the vacuumed had filled completely up and we had to change the vacuum bag 2 times.
After getting things into some sort of normal living environment, my fianc once again had to go around and vacuum the apartment.
We found that we were vacuuming up metal shavings, nails, and tacks wood debris from construction.
By the time we had finished vacuuming the BRAND NEW CARPETS we had changed are Vacuum bag 3 times.
I have never in my life seen a person having to change a vacuum that many times in less then a 24 hour period.
We found this white/grayish powder on everything including closet metal shelves and the walls through out the apartment.
This white/grayish powder did not stop there; we also found it inside every cabinet we opened; even inside the BRAND NEW REFRIDGERATOR' What in the world is this crap! We tried to make the most of this and cleaned this apartment ourselves since complaining to management was not effective.
They had a very care-free attitude about the whole subject and in fact cutting us short in explanation.
The rudeness of the LEASING OFFICE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT was beyond anything my fianc and I had encountered.
This keyless entry thing is a farce and a pain to have to carry around, do they not realize people have not only apartment keys to carry but also car keys and remote alarm systems! Technology is something far beyond the thoughts of CP and Morgan Group.
Walk outside of your apartment and it is nothing but filth; that white/grayish powder everywhere.
This white/grayish powder will be tracked back into your apartment causing you more of a headache to have to clean up again.
The fake wood laminated floors are a joke! They are not properly laid and the clue is smeared everywhere.
It is cut improperly and actually coming up in some spots, also some holes in other spots.
The pool area was unavailable during some of the hottest months half the time do to ?cleaning? yeah, right as if CP Staff could clean anything themselves and follow through to make sure these things have been cleaned.
The Leasing Staff & Management much rather sit in their little Leasing Office, out of resident view and con another person to lease an apartment with the same fake promises.
CP is pretty much full now and parking is becoming an issue.
In considerate college kids will door-ding your car and key it for no reason' The college trend kids seem to over burden CP; parties every weekend and of course after Leasing Office hours.
They run up and down the hallways in the early morning hours and on until dawn.
Fullerton police seem to be a regular occurrence to break up either a fight or large parties.
CP has failed itself having the poorest quality of Leasing Staff and Management, The Morgan Group is literally ruining its name by having it attached to the name CITYPOINTE APARTMENTS.
ON-SITE LEASING STAFF & MANANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE (EXTREMELY FAKE PERSONALITIES OF FALSE PROMISES) THE MORGAN GOUP HAS FAILED ON ALL ASPECTS AS TO FULLERTON CITYPOINT APARTMENTS.
Morgan Group Inc.
has however accomplished in making a very over-priced sorority / Fraternity haven for all ages to be drunken in the hallways, puking and urinating any place they deemed necessary.
The trash receptacle of Fullerton; CITYPOINTE takes top name in this area.
I would not recommend this dump to anyone you can lease a house or condo for the same price as what you would pay here! Stray far from CITYPOINTE!
