On April 2, 2005 I had come to Citypointe with my husband. We were in search of a better apartment and location. prior to going to the Citypointe apartments I had done some research on the Internet; read the reviews in regards to Citypointe after telling my husband about the reviews we decided to go look for ourselves to see if any of these bad reviews were legitimate or not. We had driven past the newly built Citypointe and it seemed pretty nice from the street. As we arrived we met with a young lady who seemed very nice and curious; showed us two models apartments and then gave us a tour of the property. As we toured the property my husband did point out that the trees were very over grown and rather in poor care. The Citypointe official told us that the trees are well maintained and that the landscapers were coming out on Monday to trim the trees. She had shown us the pool table room was we found a bunch of younger adults gathering and drinking beers "they did seem a little rude to us when we first walked in, but soon quiet-down. Then we were shown the TV room which we found to be in a total disaster chairs up-side down and thrown about "the room looked like it had been vandalized or something"' The Citypointe official assured us that this was not something normal' We toured the work-out room that had a very bad odor of some sort' Even the Citypointe girl had made a face and quickly shut the door. As we walk towards the pool we found a lot of rowdy young adults in the pool area drinking beers and being really loud. The sign said no alcohol and bottles, but the Citypointe girl just quickly moved us out of that area without saying anything to the people in the pool area regarding alcohol and glass bottles. We then walk down a long hallway and noticed these doors, which the Citypointe girl told us they were storage closets. We immediately noticed these foot steps leading in and out of each of these storage closets; White foot prints, leading quite a trail behind I might add. My husband stopped and asked what was this white powder dust coming to and from the storage closets' The Citypointe official told us that maybe the people whose storage closet it was had something dirty inside and quickly dismissed my husbands? question. In remembering the reviews we had read this must have been the "white-dust-powder" that everyone has written about. Back at the leasing office the Citypointe official showed us apartments that she had available or coming available. It was at that time my husband had mentioned to the Citypointe official about the reviews on this apartment building; the Citypointe girl suddenly became defensive in responding' I found that very rude! From that point on the Citypointe official acted very odd and very abrupt on answering any questions. My husband asked about what we had seen at the pool (the alcohol and glass-bottles) The Citypointe official suddenly became so rude and told us "If you are here to critique the apartments and have complaints already that we are not welcomed to live here"'' It was a simple question and alcohol in pool areas is prohibited by law! The Citypointe official had gotten up and just left us sitting at her desk without even a goodbye. She just went to the back offices offices and stayed. My husband and I thought maybe she went to get something to bring back but she never came back; just abandoned us at hr desk. We could hear her talking to someone and making cracks about our asking too many questions' Hey we did nothing wrong, we simply were inquiring! As we left and walked back to our car we did notice a street-person sitting inside the garage area near the mail box entry door. Well let me just say "I think the bad reviews do reflect and accurate statement about Citypointe and that I can't even imagine what it is like after-hour". So these "BAD REVIEWS" hold a lot of truth about Citypointe. I hope no one has to go through what we did; Citypointe is very artificial and the people running the place (leasing officials) are just as rude as the reviews state. For my husband and I we found a better apartment area for a lot lower rent and a heck of a lot better attitudes with the leasing and management staff. I would not recommend Citypointe to my worst enemy, for the place is a true piece of trash, most of that being inside the leasing office! Rents prices and better quality of living with much better attitudes from leasing staff and management can be found in other places. I say let the younger kids have Citypointe as there very own "fraternity house" because it is just like a fraternity house setting. Good luck in your search.

I'm a current resident and this review is absolutely bogus. This has to be City Pointe's apartment competition agents using desperate measures. Never have I experienced these issues in the course of a year
