The building is fine but there are red flags to note

I'll try to be brief.
Very nice building, nice landscaping and location is perfect if you are a train user.
During school session it is a nighmare. Noise all night and the thumping between floors combined with the clacking shoes and talking in the hallways is pretty much unbearable. I keep asking how much longer do I have to endure this.
The front office could give a damn about you as a customer. I guess there is such a demand to live here that they can get away with this. You almost feel like you are imposing on them if you approach them with a concern. They really don't care about anything but getting that rent check. Hey, if you get pissed and leave, you can pay the early termination fee and undoubtedly there will be another dummy waiting in the wings to fill the opening you created. I think I was one of those not too many months ago sadly.
The rent is pretty steep, too steep if you ask me but then I guess the market drives it. After my first year I was hit with a 15% increase. After only one year!! I hate this market. Sucks.
So there you have it. The summer months have been good but there is absolutely no doubt that school is back in session and these units are jamb packed. I marvel at how these so-called students can afford this place. Things sure have changed since I was in college. Seems like today's students have a lot of spare money available to burn away as rent. Be sure you explore all of your options before choosing this place. I cannot stress this enough.
