I have lived here since the doors were opened and feel a need to state a few facts.
The interior of the units are the best I have seen in the area. I love my unit and have decorated it accordingly.
The location is perfect. Downtown Fullerton has a lot to offer. Good restaurants and a fair nightlife. The best feature about this place is I have never needed a cab after a night out.
However noise has always been an issue due to the construction and the collage crowd here. It is not just the weekends. I have slept through hurricanes, tornados, blizzards and quakes and have been awakened here on a number of occasions by late night folks stumbling home at 3am. At least the weekly 1am fire alarms have not been an issue in the past year.
Parking is an issue. There is not enough. I know everyone says that but it is a fact here. There are 100 one bedroom units with 1 "secured" parking space in the leases and 82 two bedroom units with 2 "secured" spaces. That is 264 "secured" spaces for the residents but they only have 223 to give away. If you get home after 11pm don't expect to get a spot.
"Secured/Gated" is a joke. I have had my car broken into 3 times in three years. I watched someone climb over the 4 foot fence on the ramp at 2am. He left the area quickly after I yelled out but not before checking in the windows of a few of the cars. He then jumped into a waiting pickup truck parked on the ramp and peeled out. This place is a target due to the ease of access and hidden corners. Don't be fooled into thinking it only happens at night. A friend of mine had his car broken into 3 weeks ago on a Sat. afternoon. The same goes for your front door. Once in the structure all they have to do is take the stairs to your door. If you have noticed the front entrance door unlocking mysteriously it is due to someone trying to get the elevator to come to the lower level using there clicker.
I have explained these issues, which are easily fixed, to 3 different management teams and have been ignored.
