Also, get used to the sound of lawn mowers and noisy leaf blowers at 6:30am in the mornings, even during the workdays. Very irritating!

There are break-ins to the residents cars every few months. There is no on-site security patrol to watch the property. There are entry gates to the resident's parking area, but the entry gates are easily climbed over by criminals or they simply follow another car in.

All the maintenance staff speaks Mexican and very, very bad english only.

Also, there is a HUGE ant infestation problem at Highland Meadows. You can't leave any food out and have to be VERY clean in your kitchen and even then the ants keep coming inside your apartment.

As was said before ALL of the gym workout equuipment is broken.

When the pool is open there is usually noisy kids in it and too much chlorine and chemical smells.

The manager is very lazy in getting your maintenance reqests done and generally has a bad attitude.

The air conditioners are old wall units in the living room and DO NOT cool the bedrooms during the summertime.

On the same street as Highland Meadows are two other competing Apartment Complexes, both are newer and better looking and managed. They cost about the same or more (if you want a larger unit) and look nicer.

My clothes were stolen once from the laudry room and the manager did nothing.

Overall you'd be better off living somewhere else.
