First off, I would have to commend the Management of this property for being honest and upfront about the problems they have while they were showing me the apartment. Usually, the people who lease apartments act like used car salesmen, trying to get you in at any cost, and then you're stuck. These apartments are also month to month, so I feel a certain relief that I'm not locked into any contract.
For the price, this is pretty hard to beat for Orange County. It's directly across the street from CSUF, so there is some noise because of the amount of students, but I think the "village" apartments across the way are much worse in that respect. There have been some plumbing problems in the first floor apartments, though not in my apartment, and the parking can be hectic, as you only get one space, and even then someone will still manage to park in your reserved space at some point. The apartments are a little small, but I looked at many that were much smaller, more expensive, and not as nice.
This is a great first apartment, and the area is safe, which was the most important factor for my girlfriend. Overall, I'm very pleased with our decision to move to Piccadilly Square.
