Enjoyed Living Here, Just Too Pricey.

I am moving out of these apartments soon and I was using this site to review other apt communities to move to when I decided to take a look at the reviews for Pinnacle just for kicks. Most of what was written versus my own experience is almost night and day so I have decided to share my experience.
I was one of the first tennants to move here in feb. of 2004. I was excited because I had attained an apt no one else had ever lived in. Every apt. here regardless of floor plan comes with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer, clothes dryer, and a GAS stove. Impossible to find ALL these in most So. CA apts. (I have rented from many).
The grounds were and are absolutely beautiful. The staff when I first moved in were extremly professional and considerate. Any maintanence issues I had were dealt with promptly.
Pinnacle is located within downtown fullerton. probably one of the safest neighborhoods i have lived in not to mention all the different things i visit within walking distance. train station, tons of restarants, a jazz club. I have gone on many evening walks with my girlfriend within this neighborhood and never once felt unsafe at any time. In fact I would submit there are more churches and other places of worship around here than bars. As for these other reviews involving college students and parking, i have never experienced too any degree the measure of disappointment submitted by the other reviewers. I have two cars, two parking spaces, zero problems. In addtion, the entire time I have lived here i have observed ample parking within the assigned parking area not used even during the time periods when most people are home.
As for noisy college students there is no more or no less noise you would expect from any other apt community that has families. In fact it is more peaceful than most of the other apartments where I have lived. I have never experienced vomit, feces, or any other disgusting object within or on the walls of hall ways.
Now my cons of this community as through my experience. The staff has changed alot since I first moved in. I would have to concur with the other reviews that with some of the staff members I have had contact with they do present an air of arrogance and bigitness. but not all of them. Also this complex has some sort of virus/plague infecting its fire alarm system. On countless occasions I have awakened in the early hours of the morning with my heart racing a mile minute awoken by the fire alarm system. I do not believe it is done by the college kids pulling the handle as described in another review because the fire department never comes when it goes off. (The fire station is maybe a football field from the complex). Finally, it is way too expensive to live here. If you can afford to live here, it is time to buy a home, no matter the situation. No matter how you are getting your funds to make rent, whether you have a great paying job or have 5 roomates, you should take that money and invest it in a real estate purchase. Overall I have loved living here, I will miss it, just not the rent amount.

I really enjoyed reading this review. These are my exact sentiments when it comes to living in the City Pointe apartments. Very similar to the Pinanncle but yet even more money!! I had viewed the pinnacle units/apartments first but my King size bed wouldn't fit very well in their 1 bedrooms. Especially the fire alarms that was too much for me. I'd wake in a panic and it would take me an hour or two to calm down and go back to sleep. Especially for the amount of rent they expect. Unacceptable.
