Hi,

I have been trying to move out of here for some time, but not finding much better options locally. Below is what I have learned about life at this complex:

It seems that here at Pinnacle, everyone who is a self-sufficient adult (READ: not an undergraduate student or being supported by parents) is pretty disgusted by the price of the building's low-grade amenities. The walls are paper thin, the windows also are thin.

The neighbors making the noise probably do not realize how loud they are or that they various "smoke" comes in through other peoples' windows.

Someone is constantly pulling fire alarms at all hours of the night. And, yes, there is usually vomit or urine around the front entrance -- and even in the halls.

Usually the "security" we pay for with electronic doors is rendered useless by morons who prop the security doors open and their anonymous friends who "casually" shuffle in behind you without asking if you mind letting them in. Ask those of us who were around when that group of guys came buy to steal from residents.

Outside of one employee, most office staff one must deal with ("management") is rude and does not understand the concept of customer service. There is also THEFT of personal packages by the office, and some longstanding feud between office employees and our local mail service.

I can see some in management try to fix things, while others just keep leaving. They can't seem to keep the same employees around for very long. And people who want to party in downtown just park their cars in our lot.

In short, it sucks here and is way too expensive, but it is hard to find other things locally. People usually leave Pinnacle to buy homes or rent in another community. I know this because I see them in the computer area (when the computers are not broken or occupied by young teens).

I feel stranded here and will be happy when the market eases and I can move out.

Do YOU live here, witphoto? If you do, then you would know that it's $2000 one month's rent to move out before your lease is up. Don't be such an idiot. Get a life!

I don't think its the offices responsibility to take care of your package anyway.
