Pinnacle apartments look nice, but that's all you get.
The fire alarm goes off throughout the complex on average once a week, usually between 1-2 AM; it continues to shriek (no exaggeration) for at least 10 mins each time. Please note: Management does nothing to stop these occurances.
The clubroom facilities are inaccessible when the office is closed, including over long weekends. Said office is often closed even during regular business hours.
Their security deposit is not a deposit; it is a move-out cleaning fee that is charged whether or not the apartment is clean when you vacate the premises.
It takes a surprisingly long while for hot water to get to the shower etc.,
The balconies are too noisy and dirty from road traffic so no one uses them other than as storage.

That's exactly what a security deposit is. At least in every apartment I've lived in.

Just so you know the security deposit has some specific california rules that have to be obeyed by the landlord. See this site for help...http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/landlordbook/sec- It can be used for cleaning... but only to a certain level and the prior rentor has to know what was done with the security funds, in short.
