To echo the others, I have had my vehicle broken into twice -once over $4000 worth of damage. My radio stolen the second time, along with the gate opener. Yes, I reported it to the office, but no, the gate code was never changed. I was told we would have "great security" -gates, patrol, very safe...Terrible security, you have to call & hope they show up within an hour. I've never seen them "patrol", only lock up the pool at 10pm and then disappear.
Unresponsive management =they only want their money (which goes up & up & up). They're quick to fix little things, but if it costs too much -look out! I complained for 2 months about the boiler making a lot of noise at night -I couldn't sleep in my own bedroom because the calcium build-up was banging against the wall. When they finally called a plumber, they didn't want to replace it because it was very expensive. At $900 a month minimum for a tiny, hot, stuffy, noisy apartment, with dorm-like halls, you'd think they'd have the decency and money to pay for a new boiler!!
Outside people use the pool & laundry (but they continue to leave it open!) and kids walking through every morning and afternoon, even if they have to climb the gate! Beware of moving in here -you pay for EVERYTHING!! Water, trash, sewer, electric, "pet rent" and all you get in return is hassled.
