R C Briarwood Apartments

hoping to move soon From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/30/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   We have lived at RC for 2 1/2yrs. when we first moved in, it was cool.quiet, clean, no drama or police activity. we stay upstairs, in what mgt has called "the ghetto bldgs"; and see more of the comings and goings then they would like to admit to. Mgt answer re any complaints is to call PD. Im sorry, thats not my job. There is an older mexican lady, we deemed "madam de basura" who is constantly going thru the dumpsters like clockwork. MGt doesnt care. Even the maintenace staff talks to her like shes family. Rent is too high for what you get. The prorated water/sewage/trash fee is SKYHIGH. The diversity is good, if you like living in Lil India/TJ. I wouldn't recommend living downstairs if you value your personal property(people ez-ily walk in via patio sliders rather than front doors). Heavy crime in carports. People dont know how to park correctly, and end up damaging your vehicles. Since we've lived there, we have seen the bomb squad, foot pursuits w/PD, PD helicopters searching overhead for suspects on the run..GIMME A BREAK. I used to live on the West side of Fullerton in what would be considered the barrio, and never saw such activity as I have here in what I deemed was the Booghy side/college side of town. I WANT TO MOVE. MGT is decent depending on who you deal with. If it is K: her answer is always to call PD or Security Patrol(which doesnt do any good), if you get C or I, then C handles it or I refers back to K for direction.(if you live here, you know who im talking about). Rent for a 1 bdrm is almost a $1k. They have high Turnover....HMM>>>WONDER WHY...
