Rose Pointe was a great place to live during my last year at Cal State Fullerton. It was within a 10 to 15 minute drive of the campus, and its placement right next to the 91 freeway was very convenient as well. The landscaping is well done, giving the complex a healthy and upbeat look (and making it good for walks), and the pool and spa are kept up well. They're in the midst of a lot of cosmetic and safety upgrades, which sometimes leads to a bit of extra noise or inconvenience but when it's done it will have been worth it. Parking is really not bad once you learn the schedule and a few tricks (like the fact that the street behind the Target next door is free overnight parking, right by the back gate of the complex). The complex has a great sense of community, while not being intrusive; the management sponsors monthly events in the pool area which really bring everyone together. In addition, Victoria is one of the nicest managers you could ask for, and she helped me out a lot on several different occasions during the year I lived there. It's a bit pricey, but the apartment was a good size and style for the money. I would recommend Rose Pointe Apartments to anyone.

you have to park in the alley and hope your car doesn't get broken into. yes the landscaping looks nice if you don't mind the bees hovering your windows and the water running down every walkway or the sound of blowers at 7 in the morning. but hey even with all of that, the worst part is the way the manager treats people here.

I have to agree with sharpknifechef, the apartments here lack a lot, most especially they lack management. My husband and I have lived here for just a few months and we have not been happy. The manager was rude to me and at one point I walked in to find her screaming at a child, her's maybe, nevertheless the language she used on that young girl was inappropriate. why the management company fails to fire her is a reflection of poor management on their part. We will be leaving at the end of our lease and will doubtless be happier elsewhere.
