I've been living here for two years now. The UVs (their nickname) have come up a LOT since I first moved in....however, there are still alot of problems. For example, the management is very slow to respond to complaints and questions. They let anyone have the key to your apartment---the exterminator, the air conditioning guy, whomever... they change things at the drop of a dime and don't notify you until the last minute. The forever increase the rent and make new additions to the place that you have to pay for without your prior notification. You pay for the food, but the food preparers yell at you if you try to get seconds. The food is okay until towards the end of the semester when they decide it's left overs time. The people who print out the menu for the week can't spell to save their lives and half the time you don't know what you're eating. Now, don't get me wrong, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than 2000 and prior. But, the management has a looooooooong way to go. I wouldn't reccommend it unless you're studying foreign languages (there are alot of foreign exchage students there...) or if you want to be across the street from Cal State Fullerton, otherwise, find somewhere else. :) Oh, and there are three rooms per apartment, a deluxe room with it's own bathroom, a large room without a bathroom, and a small room..there's a small kitchen, and living room area, there's a small two sink bathroom with a small seperate room with a toilet and a shower. Each person pays over $600 per month for their own individual ROOM!!! For that money, you can get your own place and live by yourself.
