The staff is friendly but I'm calling it quits there for compliments. The management slipped us into a 12-month lease when up to that point we had been signing 6-month leases regularly. It was my fault for not double checking but it was shady considering the lower rents they are offering people now and that we had to pay over 3 months worth of rent to get out from under it six months later. I don't know what the deposit is for, but we had to scream and yell for them not to charge us over $900 dollars above and beyond our deposit when we left. All they had to do was change the carpet and paint the walls. We left no permanent damage! They tried to charge us for their old and shoddy fixtures!! The current manager was trying to talk us out of filing maintenance requests because "the maintenance staff has been complaining that they are working too hard". Yikes!!!
The place gets overrun with college kids every weekend and they scream drunkenly into the wee hours. They claim to have security, but the last six months I never saw the guy. SECURITY:: My BEDROOM WINDOW (this is a 'gated community', folks) had the screen forcibly removed one night and the crew just stuck a new one in without comment or follow up. We had two bikes stolen and one car broken into in the public parking lot downstairs. They have private parking, but only enough for ONE CAR PER APARTMENT!!! Half of the residents are forced to park in the upper lot. I would come down in the mornings to see the maintenance guys hosing vomit and blood off of the cement from all the crackheads and drunks that roam the place at night. The management refused to do anything because the parking lot is city property. The least they could do is call fullerton police in an attempt to protect the safety of their residents!!!! But they go home at five every night, sooooo....
