REALLY BAD AREA: THERE ARE TRANSVESTIVE PROSTITUTES THAT HANG OUT AROUND THIS COMPEX AND AT LEAST 4 PORN SHOPS WITHIN A ONE BLOCK RADIUS.
I live here currently. It sucks but its the only place that will take a dog.
When we first moved in the move-in date was set and no word from manager for 2 weeks prior to move-in. We show up on move in day with all of our stuff, ready to get keys and sign papers, and what do we find out' Our apartment is not ready yet! (and the manager says we should have called to confirm it was ready and later tried to tell us we were 3 days early for our move-in) which it was clearly stated on the lease the move in date.
Well we said to fix the problem but you will have to do it while we are living here so we are not homeless for a week (with our stuff in a U-haul). They fixed the problem but thats when more problems start. Bad Toilet Broken garbage disposal Leak in tub covered by really bad spackle job Old, Stained, Smelly carpet (4'X10' spot in bedroom where it looks like someone died) Dirt in backyard, no grass Sliding glass door doesn't close Glaze on kitchen and bathroom countertops are so cheap if you set any store reciept on it the ink will transfer onto the counter.
All those are just structural problems, heres more inherent problems:
We have lived here over a year and still have not recieved a broiler pan/rack that fits for our stove.
This complex forces you to use thier fridge, even if you have your own. They will not let you use yours even though it is better, it holds more, and more cost effective to the renter.
Over 50 open parking spots but if someone comes over to visit they get TOWED if they park there (even to help you move in) the towing company passes some money to the management as a payoff for watching for visitors.
Noisy, troublemaker kids.
Not very social atmosphere.
The mail doesnt get delivered until after 4PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
$1.75 per load for laundry.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DONT LIVE HERE ITS NOT WORTH A GRAND A MONTH.

LOL, your mail issue has nothing to do with the complex! Try talking to the post office. I had lots of visitors while I lived there and once did they get towed. Kids are kids, try moving into a complex thats not family friendly.

Lived there for 2 months, in May of 2000 to July of 2000. The good part about it is that it was a month to month lease. The rent there at the time was 850.00 and that included pet rent for 2 dogs. The area was seedy, however I liked access to Beach Blvd and the 22.. 10 to 15 minutes and your in Huntington Beach!!.. Overall there not that nice but its ok....temporary type apartment
