I have lived here for two years and I can't believe the reviews on this site. It's one of those things you have to realize that, people who are pissed off, go out of their way to QQ (cry), while those that are happy and content don't actively seek to tell the world.

I however, came across this site because it is unfortunately time for me to move. My daughter has moved in with me and we have chosen another school district. So let me tell you about the place a lil' bit.

First, I very much enjoy the grounds, 3 pools, a hot tub and fitness center. The grounds are well kept and maintenance crews are friendly. The apartments are large and clean. I have yet to find any un-wanted pests or un-friendlies. I have found the management to be very friendly and helpful. They have even looked the other way once when I was short on cash due to travel plans.

My overall experience has been very positive.

The prices on this site are a bit high. I moved in in 2007 for 1300 and my rent increase was 100 dollars in 2008. This year, due to the recession and the fact many other apartments are having trouble filling, they reduce rent to 10 dollars less than when I moved in.

You may find a cheaper place but Park Grove is worth the price.

If I had to complain about something it would be the tenants that utilize their garage as a storage space instead of parking. This therefore stress's out the few available street parking spots for those times you invite guests.

This is a big complex and if you do enjoy the benefits of a large complex and are looking to find a place in Garden Grove I guarantee this is the place for you.

If your big on having guests, a lil' hint. Get an apartment near the front entrance so your guests have a short walk to your place.

If your having trouble making decisions, check out the review of your current place and see how it compares. It's likely you too will find that the reviews are more QQ and less pew pew.
