I read these reviews a year ago and decided to take a chance moving in. The management are pretty rude. They are extremely picky about rules. They communicate with you by taping notes to your front door. It seems like the water is shut off every other week! I have not moved out yet, but when I gave my notice over a month and a half before I was going to move out they left a note taped to my door that they were going to enter the apartment and inspect less than 24 hours later! When I called to try to reschedule the walk through she was extremely rude to me. They don;t seem to think anything of entering the apartment occasionally to inspect, etc. I am dreading what it will be like when I move out. A friend of mine was charged $500 over his security deposit.

The logic the management couple has with coming in to inspect is that they claim they need to see if any upgrades need to be made. They really just want to see what they can charge you for. No matter what you do, or what you clean, you will lose money. Keep all the paperwork, just in case you need to contact an attorney against ACCO Management. Most importantly, DON'T MOVE HERE!
