Well the day I got the call that my application was being cancelled, made me very upset and aggravated. We have been looking for a place for over a month now and do not have any patience when my part on the completing the application, money order for credit check which was 40.00 and putting a deposit of 550.00 to hold the apartment was turned in the same day we viewed the apartment. Viewing was on Saturday, so ----- said that she would not be able to call our employment until Tueday since this Monday was Veterans day. Well on Tuesday around 1:30 we got a call that she and ---- had called our employments and did not get any answer or any call back for employment check, so there for our applications will be cancelled and of course 40.00 credit check is not refundable. My aggravation was that she only tried that morning to call our employers, what was the real reason we were not considered future tennants' Was this an act of discrimmination' The following day, I went to go pick up deposit and just ask her what is the time limit that you give each tennant for credit checks on all references. ----- said no more than 3 days, then why is it that she only waited half a day, isnt all future tennants treated equally, I strongly believe that i should of been given 2 more days for employment verification to return before cancelling applications. But as my title states, now I consider myself lucky that my application was cancelled reading all these terrible reviews of past tennnats. But I will let all my friends know that I beleive the Management at Cypress Pointe Apartments are very unprofessional and I still beleive my case was an act of discrimination!!!!!!!!!
