Quiet side street, and for two apartment buildings pressed close to each other, quiet. My roommate and I shared a one bedroom in probably the worst part of the building, first floor (of three) facing the other building ten feet away, and I would still rate our experience as a good one. The manager and the maintainance live in and respond promptly and courteously to requests for help.
